HGM Construction were contracted to work alongside Outback Communications Limited in installing three Automatic Identification System (AIS) Towers around Banks Peninsula.
HGM constructed a 2.5-3 m high anchored timber pole retaining wall and a 2.5m Steel UC retaining wall with a Cirtex T-Recs and Promat matted slope secured with 60 Platipus earth anchors.

Following the February 2012 Earthquake, the dwelling and garage was demolished, leaving only the garage slab and the driveway at the top of the steep section. A retaining wall was required to enable the new house to be built on the section.
HGM Construction were contracted to carry out Anchoring work on two retaining walls as part of the Sumner Road Reopening Geo-technical Risk Mitigation Works Project following damage incurred in the 2010-2011 Canterbury Earthquakes.
