Hanmer Waterfall Track

The Waterfall track leading to the Dog Stream Falls is one of Hanmer’s busiest walking tracks. The track had some steep rocky sections making the track challenging for some track users and dangerous during the winter months or during high use periods.

Quail Island Pou Installation

HGM Construction were engaged to install a 8.5m, totara pou whenua (land post) that had been carved at the Lyttelton Carving School on Ōtamahua (Quail Island).

Lyttleton Pipeline Project

HGM were engaged to assist McConnell Dowell with some Sub-contract work on the Wastewater Pipeline Project in Lyttelton Harbour.

St James Homestead Run Track

HGM were contracted to complete the Homestead run shared bike and walking track in the St James Conservation area. This contract consisted of 7km of re-shaping of existing track and construction of new track to complete the 15km circuit.

Cargills Monument Stabilisation

Recent earthquakes in Christchurch had highlighted the need for earthquake strengthening across the board and Cargills Monument was identified as being at high risk HGM Construction were contracted to install Self Drilling Anchor Micropiles as part of this stabilisation and strengthening project.

Automatic Identification System Towers

HGM Construction were contracted to work alongside Outback Communications Limited in installing three Automatic Identification System (AIS) Towers around Banks Peninsula.
