The challenge:
HGM were engaged to carry out the civil site works for the installation of an on-site waste water servicing system for the public toilets at the Barracks site at Godley Head
The Solution:
A peat bed system was installed that consisted of a sceptic tank with a flout at the toilet block which then ran through a 24m2 peat bed and a second flout chamber before being discharged through a series of discharge seepage trenches. All work was completed in line with resource consent conditions and criteria set by DOC and all pipelines where pressure tested and inspected by CCC before the system was commissioned.
This project was well suited to HGMs wide variety of plant and equipment and HGM were able to assist in carrying out various maintenance and clean up jobs around the area, leaving the site in immaculate condition.
